Testimonials

“The sessions were enjoyable and informative, and the coaching really helped my child understand how to improve. They quickly started creating their own coding projects at home, which was a clear boost in both confidence and skills.”
Parent of Primary School Student
The Winstedt School

"Our child has really enjoyed the Young Innovators sessions. The mix of technology and hands-on, outdoor activities has been fantastic, and it’s been great to see their confidence grow in both problem-solving and working with others."
Amy
Parent of Summer Camp Student

"Adam has really enjoyed Hayley's clubs, gaining confidence not only in his coding skills but also in his social skills through working with his peers. It’s been a fantastic experience for him. He particularly enjoys the independence to explore, code on his own, and brainstorm ideas collaboratively with others. We’ve seen him gain in both his confidence with technology and his ability to engage socially."

Beyond the Screen
At YI, technology is just one part of the learning experience.
Alongside digital activities such as coding, Minecraft Education, and creative design, students take part in hands-on challenges that incorporate elements of engineering, problem-solving, and collaboration - from building and testing structures to designing solutions for real-world scenarios.
Drawing on experience in both STEAM and outdoor education, sessions are designed to balance screen-based learning with practical, real-world exploration. This helps students develop confidence, creativity, and teamwork, while encouraging them to think beyond the screen.
